1 Month, 3 Continents, 13 delegations, 39 Communities

November was a very busy and rewarding month for OTS Amiel BaKehila as our delegations shared the depth of Judaism, the wonder of modern Israel, and the beauty of Jewish art with thousands of Diaspora Jews of all ages and backgrounds

Amiel BaKehila groupOver the course of November, OTS Amiel BaKehila will be sent no fewer than seven delegations to Latin America.  Alongside the talented Jewish educators traveling to each community, hi-tech expert Daniel Ben Shimon visited the communities of Parana, Santa Fe and Rosario, Argentina; former Mossad agent Dani Limor spoke in Montevideo, San Juan and Bahia Blanca; and journalist Jana Beris addressed groups in Cordoba, Salta and Tucuman.

In the United Kingdom, Ethiopian activist Penina Redai joined Chef Yahav Kriti and OTS Amiel BaKehila director Rabbi Reuven Spolter, while the communities of the Marseilles region in France welcomed Marc Amouyal and technology and investment expert Bruno Malki.  OTS Amiel BaKehila also sent its inaugural delegation to Spain, as Rav Aharon Gulman accompanied hasbarah expert Gustavo Perednick and musician Ianir Kilinsky to Tormolinos, Barcelona and Palma de Majorca!

Amiel BaKehila groupResilience expert Miriam Shapira and actor Assi Tzobel traveled alongside delegation leader Rabbi Chaim Kanterovitz to Providence, Rhode Island; Columbus, Ohio; and Kansas City,  Missouri. Meanwhile, photographer and writer Laura Ben David joined Rabbi Aaron Goldscheider on a delegation to San Antonio, Texas; Santa Fe, New Mexico; and Long Branch, New Jersey. 

“All in all,” says Rabbi Spolter, “November was a very busy and rewarding month as the OTS Amiel BaKehila delegations shared the depth of Judaism, the wonder of modern Israel, and the beauty of Jewish art in its myriad forms.”
