making havdala

The Ronald S. Lauder Foundation’s annual summer camp for Polish Jewry is a well-established tradition in Poland. And since Ohr Torah Stone and the Israelei Ministry of Diaspora Affairs established the OTS Amiel BaKehila emissary program last May, the participation of Ohr Torah Stone rabbinical and educational delegates has also become part of the camp tradition.

In addition to the OTS Amiel BaKehila contingent, led for the second year in a row by OTS’s Rabbi Boaz Pash, the camp faculty included a number of OTS alumni currently serving as community rabbis and educational shlichim throughout Poland.  These dynamic emissaries came with the mission of  creating a fun and scenic context for Jewish heritage studies and experiences, while strengthening the connection between Jewish families who live great distances from one another all across the country.
