During these days between the first day of Elul and the first of September, Ohr Torah Stone programs and institutions are celebrating the beginning of new school years. Amongst them all is the exciting launch of a brand new program: HaMidrasha HaYisraelit, literally “The Israeli Seminary”, the very first seminary to bring together young women from all the various streams of Jewish Israeli society – religious and secular and everything in between – for a year of joint Torah study and a deepening of their Jewish knowledge in preparation for National Service, IDF service – and life.

This week, the students arrived at the seminary’s beautiful campus in Pardes Channa. With tremendous excitement, we wish them and their extraordinary staff a wonderful, important and fruitful academic year, serving as a stellar example of connection and unity amongst the people of Israel.
