In preparation for their Bar Mitzvah year, 7th-grade students at OTS’s Derech Avot Junior High School have initiated a new project. Every week Rabbi Kenneth Brander, President and Rosh HaYeshiva of Ohr Torah Stone, will meet with the boys in groups and individually to discuss the central theme, “What is the mitzvah that is most dear to my heart?”   Together they will explore ways that each student can glorify this mitzvah in their daily life.  For encouragement, students receive gifts to motivate them throughout the year.
