“משנכנס אדר מרבין בשמחה”
When the month of Adar arrives, we increase our joy!

Each week, the students of Midreshet Lindenbaum‘s Maria and Joel Finkle Overseas Program and the students in the Elaine and Norm Brodsky Darkaynu Program perform a different chessed project. Some weeks, the students volunteer at a soup kitchen while other weeks they pack necessities for the hungry, work in the community’s regional garden, and more.

In honor of Rosh Chodesh Adar Bet this week, the young women teamed up to bake hundreds of hamantaschen which they then packaged for delivery to the IDF soldiers on duty near the midrasha, the Pina Chama soldiers’ corner in Gush Etzion, and the nearby apartment of a group of lone soldiers.
