Congratulations to the OTS’s Yeshivat Neveh Shmuel, which received the Chemed (State-Religious Education) Award for Chessed!

The award recognizes the extensive volunteering and involvement in the community, paying tribute to the fact that students perform volunteer work each week throughout Gush Etzion, Efrat and Jerusalem.

Activities include studying with elementary school students, assisting the elderly, spending time with people with disabilities, doing agricultural work in local orchards and vineyards, and more. The volunteering project is headed up by Doron Golan and Shai Rabinowitz, along with student representatives from each grade.

We are so proud of each and every one of these boys for giving of themselves to others, without the expectation of anything in return!
