Ohr Torah Stone is like family and a home for thousands of students and alumni, something exemplified perfectly by the wonderful Lisker family!
Four generations met up this week for a picnic lunch outside the dining room of Neveh Shmuel, where Shoshi Lisker teaches. Shoshi was joined by her son Daniel, an Eleventh-Grade student at OTS’s Derech Avot, and her daughter Avital (Lisker) Lejzor, who is currently doing the practical work toward her MA in Social Work at Neveh Shmuel.
OTS is Avital’s alma mater too, having graduated Neveh Channah high school (where mother Shoshi teaches as well), followed by participation in Midreshet Lindenbaum‘s Hadas Program – where she was also a madricha upon completion of her IDF service. She came to the picnic with her beautiful daughter – Oriya Liba – undoubtedly the next generation of OTS students!
Shoshi’s mother Lessa Ruskin was on hand to babysit – and schepp nachat 😊
Not pictured: Yonatan Lisker, a graduate of Neveh Shmuel; and Tamar Lisker, graduate of both Neveh Channah and Midreshet Lindenbaum’s Lod branch.
