In honor of the Hebrew month of Shvat, the Katz Oriya High School for Girls hosted a panel of alumnae who are currently serving in a variety of military, civilian and educational roles. The graduates – who came back “home” to the ulpana from all over the country, from all kinds of fronts, action areas and temporary evacuee homes – gave the Katz Oriya students (and teachers!) great strength and motivation as they shared the significant contributions they are each making to society, and reinforced the importance of taking action during this period of war.

We were especially excited to see how our current students took inspiration from the bravery and dedication of these former students who developed and grew in the same classrooms and halls, and today work for the good of Am Yisrael and Medinat Yisrael.

May the month of Shvat be a month of growth, renewal and good news for us all.
