Summer fun means different things to different people – for this group of high school girls entering 10-12 grade in Jewish day schools across the USA, “fun” means participating in Maria and Joel Finkle Overseas Program‘s “Lamdeini Program”!

The initiative, now in its second year, focuses on high-level, intensive Torah and Talmud studies in the famed Midreshet Lindenbaum beit midrash – alongside “giving back” through volunteer chesed opportunities and touring the country.

Pictured: As they searched for finds from ancient Jerusalem in the archaeological sifting project at Emek Tzurim, the Lamdeini students and their teachers were thrilled to find that their guide, Elisheva Zemel, was herself an alumna of Midreshet Lindenbaum currently performing Sherut Leumi!
