Wrapping up another year (Darkaynu’s 20th!), Yeshivat Darkaynu participants enjoyed a thrilling two days in Israel’s North: rafting, hiking, camping, sightseeing and visiting holy sites.

“The highlight of the trip was spending so much time having fun with my friends,” said Yoel, from New York.
“I really want to thank the Darkaynu staff for all of their hard work at making sure this trip was so amazing!”

The Elaine and Norm Brodsky Darkaynu program is the only year-in-Israel program for young women and men with special needs. The only “sidestreaming” program in existence provides students with a full-time social and academic program within a mainstream environment, enabling them to gain independence and acquire life skills while reinforcing their ties with Israel and the Jewish people – just like everyone else.
