If a picture is worth 1000 words, how many words is a video worth?

This week, the first Makor Rishon “International Conference on the Diaspora” was held online, on the subject: “How the Corona Affected the Jewish World.” It goes without saying that as a network that treasures its strong connection with Diaspora Jewish communities and has a deep commitment to Jews all over the world, Ohr Torah Stone played an integral part.

The conference closed with a “Worldwide Tish” featuring songs and music from five of the 300 shlichim from OTS’ Straus-Amiel and Beren-Amiel emissary programs currently serving around the world. In this video you will get to know Rabbi and Rebbetzin Pini and Renana Ben Mordechai who are now in Monterey, Mexico; Rabbi Ariel Tal who – with his wife Rachel – serves as the rabbi of the Jewish community in Wellington, New Zealand; Yaakov Wacks, who teaches with wife Merav at a Jewish school in Teaneck, New Jersey; Rabbi and Rebbetzin Oriel and Batya Zaretzky, a rabbinical couple in Warsaw, Poland; And Rabbi Lior and Rachel Kaminetzky, who returned from shlichut in Birmingham, England, and currently live in Jerusalem.

Press the “play” button to join this happy Tish which will get you into the Shabbat atmosphere!
