Little Hadar, daughter of esteemed Midreshet Lindenbaum faculty member Rabbanit Rachel Leshaw, beautifully captured the essence of what we strive for at OTS – empowering the next generation of Jewish women to embrace Torah living and learning at the highest of levels, while simultaneously shouldering responsibility to the Jewish people and state.

This Purim, as some children dressed up as fictional superheroes, Hadar chose to embody one of the real-life superheroes among us, donning an IDF uniform and holding a Gemara in her hand. How fortunate that Hadar and her friends have living role models of formidable women who can achieve levels of learning and serving that were nearly impossible in previous generations (thanks in large part to Midreshet Lindenbaum!).

We eagerly look forward to welcoming Hadar into Midreshet Lindenbaum’s Hadas Torah/IDF Program in just a few years!
