A Thousand Words – October 12, 2020
Choref Zman (winter semester) began this week in full swing at Midreshet Lindenbaum‘s Maria and Joel Finkle Overseas Program.
The Choref Zman begins after Sukkot and is the longest semester of the yeshiva or seminary year, spanning the Hebrew month of Cheshvan through the end of Adar, with only a few holidays in the middle (Chanukah, Tu B’Shvat and Purim).
