Ohr Torah Stone mourns with great sadness the passing of Roy Stern, z”l, longtime Chairman of the Board and true friend.

Roy was a champion of the Jewish people who cared deeply about Eretz Yisrael, Am Yisrael and Torat Yisrael.

He was instrumental in the establishment and growth of Efrat and Ohr Torah Stone.  As a longtime Chairman of the Board of OTS Israel, Roy made an indelible impact on OTS and Jews worldwide.

He was a tremendously dedicated man of principles, guided with a commitment to excellence.

Roy will be deeply missed. May his memory continue to inspire us.

He is survived by his wife, Judy, his children: Sara and Ariel Nahum, Adina and Chaggai Mishor, Meira and Emanuel Maimon, Gidon Stern, Noam and Sharon Stern, Aryeh and Renana Stern and Yael and Gal Lin, and many loving grandchildren.
