“אוֹדֶה ה’ בְּכָל-לֵבָב” — “I give thanks to God with all my heart”
This was the heart-felt proclamation made by Rabbi Boaz Pash in a moving display of gratitude to the Almighty yesterday. Rav Boaz, a former Straus-Amiel emissary and current Rosh Kollel of Ohr Torah Stone’s Kollel Torat Yosef was miraculously saved earlier this week from a terrorist attack. Waiting for the bus in Jerusalem’s Armon HaNetziv neighbourhood, a Palestinian terrorist approached Rav Boaz with a knife in hand. However, as he attempted to stab him, the knife miraculously bent causing him no injury.
Yesterday in the Israel Henry Beren Beit Midrash, Rav Boaz retold his story surrounded by students from his Kollel, from the Yeshivat Hesder Machanaim, and from the current crop of Straus-Amiel and Beren Amiel students whom he also teaches.

He implored all those present to appreciate the miracles – large and small – that surround us each day. Rav Boaz concluded by reciting the bracha of “HaGomel,” followed by a large l’chaim!
