Tell us about the position you’re in:
At the school we are responsible for Jewish activity around the holidays and relating to the months of the Hebrew year as well as teaching Judaism in the various classes.
In the community, Eviatar reads the Torah and leads services as a Chazzan, and also runs children’s prayer services and Parshat Hashavua class.

What did you receive from the Beren-Amiel Educational Emissary Training Progam and the Claudia Cohen Women Educator Institute?

Before leaving on shlichut we received training and preparation for what was to come, and during the first year when we encountered difficulties, Rabbi Yehoshua Grunstein was right beside us to advise and help us.

What message would you like to impart regarding shlichut?
Diaspora communities need the “spice” of Eretz Israel; even if sometimes at the beginning it is difficult for them to digest us, at the end, it is difficult for them to be without.
