Ryan brings over two decades of nonprofit and corporate experience to the role, most recently serving as the National Director of Development for Ezer Mizion, the world’s largest Jewish bone marrow registry. While at Ezer Mizion, Ryan created several innovative initiatives to increase the organization’s visibility within the greater Jewish community.
Over the past decade in the nonprofit arena, Ryan has played a significant role in raising over $25 million for two major capital campaigns for yeshiva high schools in New Jersey and Los Angeles, as well as substantially increasing annual support.
“I’m excited to expand Ohr Torah Stone’s footprint across North America, and to play a role in building the next generation of Jewish leaders, individuals steeped in our beautiful traditions while also extremely comfortable embracing an ever-changing, modern world,” Ryan said. “OTS is at the forefront of halakhic innovation, while always staying rooted in Torah tradition, positioning the institution to bring the relevance of Jewish values to the broader Jewish community, whether in responses to assimilation, women’s Torah learning and leadership, caring for those in need or building Jewish community during a worldwide pandemic. I eagerly look forward to sharing this vision and my own passion for our mission with Ohr Torah Stone’s partners across North America.”
