Since the outbreak of the war, many families have postponed preplanned weddings, parties and events. When the young women who study at Midreshet Lindenbaum-Lod learned of eight girls from the community who were unable to celebrate their bat mitzvah, they rose to the challenge, producing a festive (and secure) event in honor of the girls’ important milestone. The Midreshet Lindenbaum-Lod students took care of decorations, ice cream, cakes, lots of sweets – and made sure to also infuse significant Torah learning and content alongside much joy, singing and dancing, all of which added up to an unforgettable event!

This is how you add light in the darkness.
