After an entire month of various volunteer activities for the community, the soldiers and the evacuees, 11th graders from Ulpanat Katz Oriya chose to assist residents of the south with their economic future as well.

They created an incredible Farmer’s Market through which farmers and merchants from the envelope of communities near the Gaza Strip were able to sell their wares to the residents of Gush Etzion, where the Katz Oriya school is located. And in order to draw as many participants as possible, the students – who initiated, produced and publicized the event – also made sure to organize anhuge happening for children with food, performances and lots of surprises.

It is always so inspirational to witness the initiative, mobilization and creativity of our students. When we see them we know for sure: we will prevail!
