In his first official appearance in Israel as President-Elect and Rosh HaYeshiva of Ohr Torah Stone, Rabbi Dr. Kenneth Brander met with students from the “ORA” program at Midreshet Lindenbaum‘s Maria and Joel Finkle Overseas Program, just hours after his flight from the United States landed.
Rabbi Brander explained that he “felt that it was important to begin this trip by meeting and beginning to get to know students in the Ohr Torah Stone network. My clear message to the entire Ohr Torah Stone family – our students (past, present and future) and their parents; our dedicated and talented program heads and faculty; and all OTS supporters, friends and stakeholders – is that our core mission is and always will be to teach and inspire the next generation of young Jewish adults with the values of an authentic Torah Judaism that engages seriously with the challenges and opportunities of modern life.”
