The choir from Ohr Torah Stone’s Jennie Sapirstein High School for Girls performed today at the Choir Conference, under the auspices of Michlala’s Music Department. Approximately ten choirs from around the country participated, including Michlala’s own. The Ohr Torah Stone girls sang three songs and gave a great performance, which met with enthusiastic response, thunderous applause and a special commendation from the conductors of all the choirs present.
Choir director Sivan Fishheimer reports that the event was especially enriching for the girls, because even as they were given the opportunity to showcase their own talents, they also learned about other schools. They are eagerly awaiting two additional performances scheduled over the course of the next month and a half.
