Yad La’isha, the Monica Dennis Goldberg Legal Aid Center and Hotline, is the oldest, largest, and most experienced support center for agunot in the world. We take on all clients, regardless of background, socioeconomic or religious orientation, annually providing 650 women with free legal counseling and approximately 150 clients with legal representation in Israeli rabbinic courts. Our female advocates and social workers free and rehabilitate an average of 60 agunot each year.
Yad La’isha’s long-term goal is to promote awareness of the problem of Get refusal, to change the system, and to seek and pursue viable solutions compatible with Jewish Law, in order to end this scourge. Please help us achieve this goal by making a donation!
