“We have a winner!”
Congratulations to Dvir Brook, the winner of Efrat’s tenth annual Bible Contest, which was held this year on the backdrop of the 50th anniversary of Jerusalem’s reunification.
Dvir, a student at OTS Derech Avot High School in Efrat, and fellow schoolmate Lior Chacham, who came in third, did Derech Avot proud. “The two entered the Bible Contest with friends and they all showed great sportsmanship, encouragement and concern for one another even during the final phases,” reports the school’s social counselor, Avihai Foa. “There was no real competitiveness between them, just true friendship and a desire to learn Torah – which is the true prize in this entire story!”
